And now we need team members such as you to help install our huge selection of flooring materials. We are seeking reliable and enthusiastic carpet installers to join the interiors by design team. Your talents are needed to install a variety of flooring materials including but not too stretch carpet, modular carpet, and other rolled flooring materials for various residential, commercial and industrial applications. Other duties may include demolition/removal of existing floors, cleaning and prepping floors to receive new products. Requirements include: valid driver's license, able to work Monday through Friday, pass a background check. 2-3 years of preferred experience should include:Install various types of flooring materials, including carpet, hardwood, laminate, vinylMeasure and cut flooring materials to fit the designated areaRemove existing flooring and prepare the subfloor for installationUse hand tools and power tools to install flooring materialsApply adhesive, seam and secure flooring materials in placeTrim and finish edges of flooring materials as neededClean up work area and dispose of debris properlyWe offer competitive salary, medical benefits, 401K with company match, vacation, holiday pay and instore employee discounts
