Job Description
We are seeking a talented and passionate Licensed Manicurist and Nail Technician to join our vibrant beauty team! Duties
Perform professional manicure, pedicure, gel manicures, and nail extensions using safe and sanitary practices
Apply acrylic nails and execute intricate nail art designs based on client preferences
Conduct skin care treatments such as dermabrasion and esthetic laser procedures when qualified
Maintain strict salon safety protocols, including disinfection procedures and sanitation standards
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, recommend services, and upsell retail products
Assist clients with nail care advice, body waxing, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and hair styling as needed
Ensure all tools and workstations are properly disinfected between appointments to uphold salon safety standards
Skills
Deep understanding of color theory to create visually appealing nail designs
Proficiency in nail extensions, acrylic application, gel manicures, and other advanced nail techniques
Knowledge of salon safety protocols, sanitation practices, and disinfection procedures
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
Experience working in the beauty industry with a focus on nail care and esthetic treatments
Ability to perform additional services such as hair threading, body waxing, dermabrasion, and esthetic laser treatments (nice-to-have)
Strong retail sales skills coupled with retail math knowledge for upselling products effectively
Familiarity with cosmetology licensing requirements and maintaining compliance with state regulations
