Resident Care Assistant (RCA)

Part-Time | 16 Hours per Week Day and Evening Shift hours

Schedule

• Week 1: Tuesday and Friday: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Week 2: Monday and Friday: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• AND
• Every Other Weekend (Saturday and Sunday): 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Pay Range: $17.70 – $19.15 per hour Weekend Differential: +$1.25 per hour

What You'll Do

As a Resident Care Assistant, you will support residents and assist the nursing team with daily care and activities.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting residents with personal care needs such as eating, grooming, and mobility
• Preparing and serving meals and snacks while monitoring intake as directed
• Helping maintain clean, organized, and welcoming resident spaces
• Providing companionship through conversation, encouragement, and participation in activities
• Supporting resident safety and responding promptly to resident needs
• Transporting residents to activities, chapel services, or appointments within the community
• Building positive relationships with residents, families, and team members
• Helping ensure each resident feels respected, cared for, and valued

What We're Looking For

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• A caring, patient, and positive attitude
• Dependable attendance and strong work habits
• Desire to serve older adults with compassion and respect
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Willingness to learn and follow Fairmount policies and procedures
• Commitment to supporting Fairmount's mission and core values
